TERRAIN – LOCATION
On behalf of the customer, a building site with a unique view for a new building was sought. We were assigned by the client to search for a beautiful house to renovate.Our client was looking for a plot not too far from Avignon and yet with beautiful landscapes:
- Panoramic view
- Not too far from bakery and “commerces”
- The village within walking distance and yet tranquility
- Nearby cities: Avignon – Carpentras
- Surface area from 1500 m2 to 2000 m2
The choice was an architect’s house which had to be renovated. A total renovation took place.
PURPOSE OF THE BUILDER
The objective was to find the integration of indoor and outdoor living. Modernize the architect’s home with excellent structural properties and renovate it into an energy-friendly home with contemporary comfort. The property is an oasis of peace and enjoyment and moreover, it is maintenance friendly.
ARCHITECTURE – CONSTRUCTION CONCEPT
We have renovated this villa for a client while maintaining the architecture of this beautiful architect’s house. Materials were retained as much as possible in their individuality. Floors, electricity, kitchen, bathrooms, heating system, fitted cupboards, garage, swimming pool, terrace, garden were completely renovated and rearranged into a beautiful visual whole. The alignment with the breathtaking panoramic view is more than successful. A lunch outside at 28 degrees under the shade of the typical “Pine trees” makes this place truly unique!
